Located in the beautiful Golden Valley within the grounds of the owner’s non-working farm, this detached, single-storey holiday property is situated just outside the charming village of Dorstone, off the B4348, giving easy access to the many attractions locally. It is just 7 miles from the border town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its Literary Festival and known as the book capital of the world, with its quirky shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The cathedral city of Hereford is within easy driving distance. Explore the unspoilt countryside of Herefordshire and the Welsh Borders with many black and white villages, churches, footpaths and mountains. Enjoy wonderful walks with stunning scenery in the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Outdoor activities in abundance are available locally, such as canoeing, rock climbing, cycling and pony trekking. Fishing permits are available on the River Wye just 2 miles away. Shop 2½ miles, pub serving food ½ mile.
